We would like to take this opportunity to thank theEvansville Tri-State Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure for the $15,000 award for TOUCH to help breast cancer patients in Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties.

TOUCH helps cancer patients with up to $250/month for non-medical financial assistance such as transportation, out-of-pocket expenses, utilities, childcare, and housing. This support may continue for up to a year providing the patient is still undergoing treatment or recovery, and if funds are available. Although, we have been blessed with awards, fundraisers and donations in the past, we continuously require donations to sustain those applicants who are in great need and those who are just beginning their journey fighting cancer. The majority of money goes to rent and utilities. I hope you will find it in your heart to support TOUCH with a donation, so that we may continue to support cancer patients and help alleviate a small portion of the financial burden that the diagnosis of cancer brings with it. We have helped 58 patients with over $65,000 since we gained our public charity status in September of 2009.

TOUCH INC. (TOUCH) provides non-medical financial assistance for cancer patients if the applicant meets our criteria explained on the application form under “Who We Can Help”. TOUCH does not pay medical expenses, but we do help with regular, everyday expenses such as, transportation, utilities, child care, housing mortgage or rent, and other out-of –pocket expenses that are non-medical but are unable to be paid by the patient as a result of the cancer diagnosis. We DO NOT pay credit card bills.
All awards are made at the sole discretion of TOUCH. Each application is given careful, individual consideration, but TOUCH does not guarantee assistance to anyone.
TOUCH has limited financial resources and will not be able to meet all your financial needs while you are undergoing treatment. We strongly encourage you to explore all other options for assistance during your treatment.
